INTRODUCING...
YOU. WE. PICKY EATING
You. We. Picky Eating is a supportive 4 week online programme led by an occupational therapist, who has made it her mission to bring calm and connection back to mealtimes, by supporting children and families with real, simple and fun strategies that can be done at home.
Each week, we meet live for an hour to explore strategies, try out fun activities together, and build confidence step by step. It’s practical, affordable, and designed to bring joy and connection back to mealtimes, one step at a time.
The programme will help you understand your child’s eating and gives you evidence‑based strategies that are shaped around their needs. You can ask questions anytime, so the support always feels personal and practical.

Hi, I'm Shelly.
You do not need another expert telling you what you should be doing.
You need someone who understands how hard this can feel and knows how to support you without judgement.
I am an occupational therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting children and families. Much of my work has focused on picky eating, sensory differences, and regulation, especially for neurodivergent children.
I work with parents who are:
- Doing their best.
- Trying everything they can.
- Still feeling stuck and worried around food.
My approach is calm, practical, and realistic.
- No forcing bites.
- No pressure.
-No blame.
I focus on helping you understand why food feels hard for your child, and how small changes in routine, environment, and connection can make a real difference over time.
“G is now able to tolerate food in close proximity as well as touch and taste a wider range of foods. Mum has reported with great delight that the family where able to go out together for the first time to a Chinese restaurant where G tucked into a bowl of stir fry vegetables and noodles!!!
The whole programme - from food preparation and other life skills, which are embedded has truly enhanced the children's ability to enjoy food.
Claire
“The children have participated in all elements of the program and breaking boundaries when it comes to touching and tasting new foods. The children are engaged throughout the session it has been a real eye opener".
Natasha
“H continues to do very well with preparing and tasting a range of foods. He is gaining weight which is fantastic. He has a hospital appointment on Thursday with the paediatrician. I know Dr. M will be very pleased. We can't thank you enough for those super food sessions & strategies... the pizza one is very memorable.

"Your programme has allowed the children I work with to be more receptive to explore food and to tolerate being around food that would previously cause a behavioural response. By progressively exposing them to a stress free approach to food, they have started to slowly try new foods they wouldn't before."
Claudia
